Rolling cases are very popular for air travel, but most are not adequately rugged for protecting photo equipment. The 150AW and the larger 250AW certainly are, and they are Lowepro’s lightest in this category. Both feature a smooth telescoping handle and premium wheels.
The interior accommodates pro-size cameras, lenses and accessories with padded and adjustable dividers, but you’ll also find a padded compartment for a laptop computer and extra pockets.

The Pro Roller Lite AW series from Lowepro offers an ultra-light (and ultra-lean) solution for photojournalists who carry a pro camera set-up, plus laptop, as they travel. Both bags meet standard international carry-on size requirements and measure less than 45 linear inches.
Sized below the international carry-on requirements, the Pro Roller Lite AW (All Weather) series of airline carry-on cases/bags offer a lightweight and ultra-lean system. Both the 250 AW and 150 AW series bags fit a wide variety of pro-sized gear.
The cheaper 150 model measures 33.7×12.7x40cm, weighs less than 8lbs and fits a DSLR with attached lens, extra body, three or four lenses, accessories and an 11 inch laptop.
