The first power-zoom from Olympus, this (24-100 mm equivalent) lens allows for smooth, quiet zooming at a variable speed that’s valuable in Movie mode. Manual zooming is also possible. In Macro mode, close focusing is possible for high magnification.
The L-Fn button suspends autofocus temporarily to avoid unintended focusing on an obstacle that suddenly appears between the camera and the subject.
